General information

Traditional fire separations can be very decisive for the appearance of a room. But, according to the Building Decree, compartmentalization is indeed a requirement. This dilemma between appearance and function can be solved by using Firescreen® Fire Curtains. The Firescreen® Temperature fire curtains are very suitable to realize fire compartments with the highest level of fire safety able to create evacuation routes or advance routes for the fire brigade.

Applications
Firescreen® Temperature fire curtains are very suitable for applications in industry, government buildings, care institutions, hospitals , public buildings and company buildings where the highest protection against fire is needed from the fire compartments. Due to the EI classification, the Firescreen® Temperature is also extremely suitable to create an evacuation route in the building or an advance route for fire fighters without the need for complex structures or expensive sprinkler systems.

EI Criteria
Firescreen® Temperature fire curtains meet the important criteria: Flame containment in order to maintain structural integrity (E), they also limit heat radiation on the non-fire side to a maximum of 1 kW/ m2 (W). Thereby Firescreen® Temperature fire curtains qualify for the thermal insulation criteria (I), which means that at a temperature of 1000 ° C on the fire side, these fire curtains ensure that the surface temperature increase on the non-fire side remains below 140 °C. All Firescreen® Temperature fire curtains therefore have an EI classification tested according to EN 1634-1.
