Specifications of the Firescreen® Flame
The Firescreen® Flame is tested according to EN1634-1 and classified according to the integrity (E) classification. In addition, a unique material classification has been achieved. The curtain complies with fire class A1, the highest attainable level and therefore completely non-flammable. Firescreen® Flame are therefore extremely effective in resisting flames from spreading.
Applications
Firescreen® Flame can be used within a main fire compartment to create multiple sub-fire compartments that divide a large area into multiple smaller areas in case of a fire without making eye-catching architectural concessions to the design of room.
Compact and economical
Due to a sophisticated materials choice during development, a headbox construction of just 180 mm × 150 mm (h x w) and 90 mm wide side guides was possible. This makes the Firescreen® Flame the most compact Fire Curtain available and a very affordable solution.
EN1634-1 fire classification E
The E classification according to the EN1634-1 means that no flames may pass through the construction for a certain period of time. With this classification, a divisions can be made within a main fire compartment so that sub-fire compartments prevent the rapid spread of fire and smoke and thus limit the damage to the building caused by flames.
