It all started in 1884, when the firm Janssen-Wayers started making wooden roller shutters and awnings. In 1947, the forge Hoefnagels took over Janssen-Wayers, the neighboring roller shutter factory. Later, both companies continued under the name Hoefnagels. Now, 135 years later, Hoefnagels is still a family company, with the 4th generation at the helm.
Growth
The Hoefnagels Group consists of several operating companies, including Hoefnagels Branddeuren, Hoefnagels Safety Services and Hoefnagels Marine. In addition, our fire-resistant Firescreen fire curtains have already been installed in 17 countries.
Craft
Producing fire-resistant screens is still a craft. The products are tailor-made to the wishes of the customer.
Innovation
Innovation is in our DNA. A great deal of money is being invested in the development of new products and the optimization of production processes. This way we are ready for the future and we move on confidently to our next anniversary.
